Privacy policy

Harris Console is a private dashboard that runs on its owner's own computer. This page explains what it does with Google account data.
What it accesses
- Gmail, read-only (
gmail.readonly): the sender, recipients, subject and time of recent messages, used to show a list of important mail. - Google Calendar, read-only (
calendar.readonly): the title, time, location and calendar name of upcoming events, used to show an agenda.
It requests no permission to send, delete or modify mail or events.
Where the data goes
- Data is requested directly from Google by the console running on the owner's computer and shown on that computer's screen.
- It is not sent to any other server, and it is not sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising.
- It is not used to train or improve any machine-learning model.
- Message and event details are held in memory for a few minutes to avoid repeated requests, and are not written to a database.
What is stored
The only thing kept is the access token Google issues when an account is connected. It is stored in a private folder on the owner's computer and nowhere else.
Removing access
Access can be withdrawn at any time by deleting the stored token on the computer, or from the Google Account page under third-party access. Once removed, the console can no longer read anything from that account.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The console's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
